Shelby started her Risk Management career in 2017 after graduating from Florida State University. She graduated with honors from the College of Risk Management & Insurance, which is ranked No. 1 in the country. Prior to joining USI, she worked on the Healthcare team for Marsh identifying improvement areas across a broad range of risk exposures including Property & Casualty, Medical Malpractice, and Employee Benefits. She became an addition to the USI Southeast Regional Healthcare team in 2020, where she has since served to drive growth to the vertical, identifying new partnerships. She holds a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation; she is an active member in the Florida Chapter of Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM); and she serves on a number of committees for Young Executives in Tampa Bay.
